Wow I'm so tired of late so very very tired. I have been drinking caffeine drinks to get through the day even though this is not advised I just couldn't keep my eyes open without them.
I am not sure why I am so tired as I am sleeping well just still up once a night for the toilet which at this stage I don't think is excessive.
I have started to get things for my labour bag at long last. I have a few toiletries and have ordered some breast pads. The Tommee Tippee Breast Pads are the best you can get in my opinion I have tried a few > this are bigger for the fuller breast like mine and will hold lots of milk if you leak a bit. Have put a picture in so you know what your looking for if you want to invest. I got the above pack delivered for £4.00 from Amazon.co.uk.
I need now to get some maternity towels from memory I remember the Superdrug own brand to be brilliant, I will have a search next time I am in town and make sure they still stock them.
I have also got my throw away knickers Ideal for the first 24 hours after giving birth , each time you go to the toilet you can just throw them in the sanitary bin, save going back to your hospital bed with dirty knickers in hand.
I got myself a new pair of slippers so I feel a little better knowing that I have a few things. I am going to get someone to get me my little suitcase out of the loft later today and put everything in.
My Bump is growing at a massive rate now its crazy how fast its coming along. Its so funny when your pregnant and out and about and see other pregnant woman comparing bumps always makes me laugh but I do it too .
I have been a bit breathless I am hoping once the baby drops into my pelvis over the next few weeks then this will ease.

30 weeks Pregnancy Update
Well this is my 30 week update. I never updated last week as a friend of mine had some terrible news. Sadly her little angel Baby was born at only 17 + 3 weeks pregnant. My heart goes out to her and somehow it didn't feel quite right to update.
RIP Baby Angel.
Anyway for my update. I am surely getting bigger. I keep getting a stitch type pain on my left hand side. I also had a few days last week when I felt breathless and very tired. I think the baby is now head down as the kicks are at the top of my bump. They are definitely getting stronger so baby is showing signs of getting bigger. I went to my Midwife appointment and what a mess it was. They had not told me the GTT test was a resting test and I had turned up with my two youngest . They said I had to sit for two hours without moving which anyone with small children will know is impossible with a 2 and a 3 year old in tow. So I declined to have the test. It was impossible. I am going to try to rearrange when I can get some childcare. The midwife did an anti-natal whilst I was there. To my surprise my bump as I had mentioned earlier was not too small apparently it was measuring 2 weeks ahead? very odd as everyone had commented that I looked hardly pregnant. Good news though as she felt baby and said that everything felt just right. Blood pressure was fine and no abnormality with urine. So great really. I will leave a piccy of my 30 week bump.
I am still only waking once in the night for the toilet but am finding that I am sleeping less now. I am sort of tossing and turning and it always takes me a while to get to sleep. I have been craving nice sweet creamy things and at the moment can't get enough Angel delight or milkshakes I just love them. I still haven't fully decided on names and Carl isn't interested in discussing them so I think I will probably just decide at the birth. I also have been thinking as to whether or not I am going to breastfeed. I have decided I will definitely do it for at least the first week so the baby will get the colostrum, then I will judge how its going and what I feel is best for everyone in the family .

28 week Pregnancy Update
Well 28 weeks today crazy! 12 weeks until baby is due and 9 weeks until I am classed as full term.
My bump is only a little one I think. I am hoping they measure me when I go to the hospital on Thursday I am sure if there is a problem they will let me know maybe scan to check baby is growing ok. I do like not having a massive bump though I must admit. I have been pregnant so many times the novelty of a big bump is just not appealing lol.
Baby is still moving regular so thats a good sign. Plus my appetite seems to have picked up a little and I seem to be able to eat a little more. A new thing that is happening though is I am waking in the night for the loo. Only once a night so far but I am sure that will get more frequent, I hate that because I sort of lie there thinking "I need a wee I need a wee " instead of just getting up and going straight away. Very silly I know as it does mean I am awake for longer.
A baby pack I won arrived and it has in some great items including some Tommee Tippee video monitors , made up because monitors was on the list of things I did need to get. I also won some cloth nappies I am starting to wonder whether I might give them a bash again this time as it would save loads if I could get along with them. I think I will try the three that I have won and see how things go and then if I like them I will get a set of them.
In each of my pregnancies my back has been terrible and last time it completely locked up and I couldn't move for about a week. But its so great this time that even my back is ok. Its mad my 6th pregnancy and so far I think my best , when I say best I mean symptom free how weird?
Right this week with baby >>>
Your baby weighs a little more than 1kg and may measure up to 38cm from top to toe. At about this time, she can open her eyes and turn her head in your uterus (womb) if she notices a continuous, bright light shining from the outside. She's getting used to blinking her eyes, which now have eyelashes.
Her fat layers are continuing to form and her bones are nearly developed, though they are still soft and pliable. Her bones won’t harden properly until after she's born.
AWWWWW
Right I will leave a picture of my little bump and see what you think small or ok? x

27 Weeks Pregnancy Update
27 weeks already oh my this pregnancy is going really fast. I dont feel overly big yet but to be honest have not been out much really. We are having work done on the house so have had to stay in with work men. My appetite is weird still I am really hungry then can only eat a really small amount, then I am hungry again. I seem to have a thing for chippy chips too and am indulging when I want to. I know I will regret this when my big diet starts after baby is born
A good friend of mine had her baby on Good Friday a lovely home birth, much to the shock of my friend when he was born he has Downs Syndrome. He is still in hospital having lots of tests on his heart at the moment. I have spent lots of time thinking of him and his Mum. It does really bring home that things can unfortunately sometimes in pregnancy go wrong. I never had the tests for Downs and am beginning to wonder if I should have done? I was so shocked about my friend I just think if It was me I would rather be prepared. ? I never had the tests because of a mess up at the hospital and by the time they realised they had not done the tests then it was too late.
I have not bought anything else for baby yet but have started thinking about packing my labour bag. I think I am going to start when the building work has finished.

Pregnancy Update 26 Weeks
Well I'm now 26 weeks pregnant. I have been really really tired this week , my body aches on the nighttime. I don't feel uncomfortable big yet bump wise though. Another thing that seems to happen lately is that I am really hungry so will make a big meal then eat a couple of mouth fulls and thats me completely full very annoying because then I am hungry again in an hour. I am like a baby chick who needs to be fed little and often. Heartburn is taking hold now also and its sort of controlling what I eat. I had a pastie in town the other day and boy did I pay for it later. The baby is moving nice and regular which is always nice to feel. I haven't had anymore midwife appointments I think my doctors midwife wanted to see me at 25 weeks but I felt fine so thought I wouldn't go to that one as it was just an extra one she put down for me because I had blood pressure problems in a couple of my other pregnancies. Names wise for the baby I think I am still on Jessica for a girl although do keep dropping Lucia into the equation so we will see. Still Daniel for a boy. So for now 14 weeks left until D Day omg arghghghghh !!!!

Disney on Ice > Sheffield Motorpoint Arena
I was lucky enough t win some tickets for Disney on Ice. The show was at Sheffield Motorpoint arena on Saturday 31st March 2012. It was Kinect Xbox on twitter I had to thank for the wonderful prize.
Well this is well worth a blog the show was fantastic to say the least as in Disney terms it was MAGICAL!! a must I think for any child.
We had VIP meet and greet tickets so we was first escorted to a private lounge where there was a free bar, we all had some soft drinks and the kids got a goody bag. No expense spared in the goody bag a Flounder teddy worth £20 , a program for the show £10 , a Photo frame £10 and a colouring book £5. Needless to say the kiddies where thrilled .
Next our special meet and greet guest arrived > Cinderella.
You could get as many photos as you wanted to. She was so lovely, my younger children however didnt want they photo took with her but me, Chelsea and Jane did .
Next we went and got some popcorn for the kids , one thing I would say is the merchandise is expensive its on par with what you pay at Disney World Florida which if you have been will know its quite expensive inside the parks. Popcorn was £7.50 per bucket and the light up toys that everyone had where about £16 each.
The show itself was brilliant everyone you would want to see was in the show , Snow white, Mickey and Minnie, Cinderella, Beauty and the beast, Little Mermaid, Aladdin and many many more. The effects where fantastic and even my two youngest who are 2 and 3 were entertained throughout , which is a miracle in itself.
So all in all this is a memory we will always cherish and if you do get a chance do go its fantastic xxx

Easter Bonnets
Well its that time of year for us parents to frantically run round the shops in search of a hat , superglue chicks and pipe cleaners lol. Easter bonnet parade. This year I only actually had to make one hat. Chelsea and Connor are now too old they don't have easter bonnet parades, Dylans nursery made their own so just Rian needed one. I thought I wouldn't go to overboard just a cowboy hat with a few chicks on. We had great fun making it - the glue wouldn't stick to the hat because it had a glossy finish so I sort of improvised and we got there in the end with a bit of tape.
We went to watch the parade it was so funny watching some of the children, so
me hats were bigger than them, they must have taken hours to make.
Anyway there where big smiles all round > Rian got a prize for his he won an Easter Egg. Here he is looking very chuffed.
