Easter Bonnets

Well its that time of year for us parents to frantically run round the shops in search of a hat , superglue chicks and pipe cleaners lol. Easter bonnet parade. This year I only actually had to make one hat. Chelsea and Connor are now too old they don't have easter bonnet parades, Dylans nursery made their own so just Rian needed one. I thought I wouldn't go to overboard just a cowboy hat with a few chicks on. We had great fun making it - the glue wouldn't stick to the hat because it had a glossy finish so I sort of improvised and we got there in the end with a bit of tape.

We went to watch the parade it was so funny watching some of the children, so

me hats were bigger than them, they must have taken hours to make.

Anyway there where big smiles all round > Rian got a prize for his he won an Easter Egg. Here he is looking very chuffed.

Mothercare Xoob Pushchair Review

Nothing better than an new pushchair I think and I have recently got a Mothercare Xoob. I actually bought the display model in the shop and it was only £39.99. They retail normally for £69.99.

First thoughts its a lovely bright purple colour, nice to look at and looks a quality pushchair. Pushing the Xoob is easy, its lightweight and although the handle height is set and cannot be adjusted I found it a perfect level for myself. I am 5ft 6 so an average height. The wheels are however adjustable you can have them on a straight so they dont turn if you require or so they turn in the direction you push. The hood is removable which I think is a great feature because I never take the hood on holidays. It comes with a raincover which is a good fit and I found this easy to use. It is a reclining pushchair and its on a drawstring pull so lots of different options for height. I did find it a little difficult to alter, a little stiff that was the only main drawback of the Xoob. It folds umbrella style it has an easy fold mechanismn I had no problems folding at all, also has a clip to keep it closed , essential if travelling. The shopping basket is very very small this is almost always the case on this type of umbrella folding pushchair. Brake

was easy to use no excessive pressure needed. The seat has a fold down part at the front for older children to use the footrest. I found the material easy to wipe and keep clean a big plus for any pushchair. All in all I would give this a big thumbs up, a great pushchair for a Bargain Price I would recommend.

4 out of 5 stars I would say

My Pregnancy Update 24 weeks

Well seeing as there will be a few Mummies to be reading and maybe just people who love reading about pregnancy like me > I thought it a good idea I will do an update on my pregnancy each week.

This week I'm 24 weeks wow its gone amazingly fast. I can now feel real kicks and baby wriggling like he/she is moving her arms and legs . Also know when baby has hiccups its so sweet. All in all I feel well, no sickness ,

sometimes in a morning I do feel a bit icky but nothing major. My belly is getting bigger and I now have 2 pairs of maternity jeans which are my favorite thing ever. I think you can't beat New look maternity jeans they seem to be one of the only high street ones that don't end up round your knees when you walk about.

I have been having Braxton hicks alot definitely in the evening. I don't remember getting them this early before but hey you forget don't you?

My next appointment is next week with my local midwife just a regular check heartbeat, test my wee wee and blood pressure.

Baby will be here before I know it.

Names so far - Jessica or Lucia for a girl
Boys - Daniel

REVIEW > SWEET TALKING BEAR

I was kindly sent a teddy bear by http://www.iwantoneofthose.com/ to review.

Well first Impressions - Really soft the kind of Bear that your not going to be able to pick up in your local pound shop for sure.  It was curly and just made you want to snuggle it. Gorgeous.  Although this is no ordinary bear because it has a pouch inside that can be placed in the microwave so the bear is nice and warm.  The pouch is easy to remove and there are instructions on the pouch that tells you how long to warm it for according to what microwave you have - really easy.
I gave the bear to my youngest she was really surprised it was warm at first but soon got used to it and wouldn't let go she utterly loves it. I think this is a fab idea because what child or adult? for that matter doesn't like to snuggle with something nice and warm at bedtime?
Well just when you think the bear cant get any better it just DOES! you can record a little message you Press the Ear with a R on until it beeps Record your short message (it will beep at the end) .  Then you press the Ear with a P on it and the Bear talks. We recorded it saying "Night Night Fia" for my little girl Sophia.  She says "Night Night Bear" and then he says it back to her - Fab !!!

All in all I really do like the bear I think its fantastic a fuzzy warm talking little friend!! Ideal

BIG NUTTYNEL THUMBS UP.
